College was Never like This
Most of the time when it comes to something Brit I tend to be a deer in headlights (in a good way), and my latest discovery is no different. Even if you’ve never lived in England you’ve probably heard of the infamous British soap “EastEnders”, but there’s another just as famous soap called Hollyoaks. Soap Operas here in the US have been on a steady decline for several years now, with the networks trying everything left and right to try and improve ratings. This is where the WOW that is “Hollyoaks” comes into play, its set at “Hollyoaks Community College”; not to mention it’s got a cast full of hot young people. Like most soap operas the people playing the young people are obliviously much older. But if American soap operas were stocked with such hot talent, I don’t think the networks would have a hard time getting people to watch. Plus the opening is something that American Soaps could inspire to with it’s in your face intro.
