John C. Dvorak Look a Like
I forget where I found this picture, but doesn’t it happen to look a lot like a certain tech columnist.

Number 1 Application Every Mac User Needs
Odds are if you’re a Mac user you’ve never seen this little program… it’s called a calculator. I know I know it may seem daunting, but I promise it’s easy to use. It will help you to calculate that you paid $2000 for a $500 computer in a shiny box. At this point you’ll have realized that you should’ve paid more attention in math class, when you buy a Mac you’re paying for your lack of knowledge of basic arithmetic.
This calculator is running on a free operating system called Linux… say it out loud with me… LINUX. Linux is based on UNIX just like Mac OSX claims to be (OSX is based on a UNIX core); but unlike Mac OSX, Linux is free.
Most people who use Mac OSX claim they really have no choice since it’s thought to be the #1 system for graphic designers; even though Photoshop runs on Windows too. The program pictured below is a program called “GIMP”, it does everything Photoshop does but more and it’s free. “GIMP” gets its name because when you realized that you paid $700 for an inferior product you’ll feel like a “GIMP”.
My Cat Watching TV
People tend not to believe me when I tell them stories about my cat “Elise” (named for Beethoven’s Fur Elise). Elise loves TV, she loves her soap operas (All My Children and One Life to Live), House, and Bones (there are other shows she likes but that would make the list too long). On the day this photo was taken Elise and I were watching the Election Coverage on MSNBC. She watched with me the whole time except for when “Pat Buchannan” came on and spoke then she turned around with her ass to the television. I think it’s obvious that my cat’s a democrat.

The Only Negative of Sarah Palin Losing
I had to look far and wide, but it’s obvious what we the American people will be missing out on if McCain and Palin lose tomorrow… Tina Fey. Honestly I don’t even think the majority of people know what Sarah Palin looks like… I think they just get her confused with Tina Fey. I only watched the first episode of 30 Rock, but I think in order to get my Tina Fey fix I’m going to have to start watching again. The polls open in an hour so I’m going to make myself ready and take a shower, hopefully there isn’t any trouble at the polls since I live in a pretty red county (cause when has there ever been trouble for a democrat at a polling place).

I Pulled a Palin
Microsoft Office 2007 has the ability to have its spelling dictionary updated, when Microsoft finds people using a word over and over again that’s not in the dictionary. Apparently Microsoft is forecasting McCain Palin not to win, since it doesn’t find Palin’s name important enough to add to the dictionary.
See Obama is spelled right…

I CANZ NO SPAMZ
A while ago Sarah Lacy (Tech Reporter) had a contest that she twittered on “Twitter”, that her book publisher was the same one who going to publish the “I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER”. So she announces that her publisher gave her some free copies to give away and so she announced a contest for the funniest picture that someone could create (I can has cheezburger style) about a famous tech celebrity. So I whipped up one about John C. Dvorak since I know the two happen to know each other (see appeared on his CrankyGeeks show). I submitted it, but didn’t get a response; I thought it was funny.
